Subfolders are coming!

We are happy to announce that we have now completed the implementation of subfolders for Tutanota. You can now create subfolders, move subfolders, delete folders or the entire folder structure. Also, you may have noticed that we have improved the design slightly, and with this update, we hope you enjoy it

Today, we’ve completed the implementation of subfolders across all clients – web, Android, iOS, and desktop. We hope you enjoy this update and are excited for other upcoming features.

This update was a request for the upcoming import feature, which we are already working on.

So it was no surprise that our developer responsible for the import functionality – Johannes – was very excited about this new feature (which he himself had no involvement in). His feedback made our entire team very happy.

“I just updated to the latest version (on prod) Betting Data  and just wanted to say that the new folder navigation and look (open, move, etc) is awesome!” I also really like the selection and hover indicators [in the app] and the icons  I’m so happy about the update to the app  You guys did a great job on this @all!”

We also received similar feedback via Mastodon : “Thanks to your team for implementing the new icon design on the iOS app. I love it.”

**If you like our updates as much, please be sure to rate our app accordingly! **

Merge subfolders with smart filters

Now you can combine an unlimited number of folders with smart filters (=inbox rules) in Tutanota. This way, incoming emails are organized directly into the right folders, making your inbox organization fast and clean.

For example, you can sort incoming email by alias and designate an Inbox folder for each alias email address (Inbox Alias A, Inbox Alias B, and so on).

Inbox rules as well as email alias addresses are part of our Premium subscription. Make sure to upgrade now to get the most out of your Tutanota mailbox!

Check here all the features you’ll get Australia Phone Number List  with Tutanota Premium, Teams, and Professional .

Next. Conversation View

Now that the subfolders are complete, we will start working on the conversation view, which is next on our roadmap .

Please let us know via comments what feature you would love to see in Tutanota next!
