I believe many employers/HR will encounter employees who suddenly quit without notifying or following procedures, also known as MIA (Missing In Action). Some even disappear the day after payday, which not only causes a lot of losses to the company, but also requires HR to spend a lot of effort and resources to recruit new employees.
How long is the notice period for employees to resign?
1. An employee can resign by giving only one day’s notice, but he Ecuador Phone Number List to compensate the company for the notice pay.
2. Under Section 12 of the Employment Act 1955, any party who resigns from the employment is required to give the following notice:
4 weeks’ notice if the employee has been employ for less than two years from the date of giving notice;

What actions can the employer take?
