The Prime Minister announced economic sectors

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin announced in a statement today that states currently in the first phase of the national recovery plan can resume operations in 11 major economic sectors from tomorrow (August 16) .

However, the condition for this convenience is that at least 50% of the adult population in the state have been fully vaccinated, and only those who have completed vaccination can enjoy this convenience.

The states currently in the first phase include: Kedah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor and Putrajaya. However, only 11 economic sectors in the Klang River Basin and Negeri Sembilan are allowed to resume work . Other states in the first phase, such as Johor, Kedah and Malacca , have not met the conditions for resuming work because less than 50% of the adult population has been vaccinated .

The Prime Minister stressed that the definition of a fully vaccinated person is:

 

1. 14 days after completing 2 doses of Pfizer, AstraZeneca (AZ) or Sinovac vaccine; or

2. 28 days after taking one dose of the Senegal Phone Number List Johnson & Johnson or CanSino vaccine

To open in the first phase of the national recovery plan are:

1. Car wash

2. Electrical appliance store

3. Home goods and kitchenware stores

4. Furniture store

5. Sporting Goods Store

6. Auto Parts Store

7. Car dealership

8. Morning Market and Farmers Market

9. Clothing and jewelry stores

10. Gold Shop

11. Barbers and hairdressers hair cutting services only.

 

 

The following are the strict SOPs

That businesses must follow when 11 economic sectors resume work from August 16:

1. Operators must ensure that all customers entering the store must present an electronic vaccination certificate to prove that they have completed vaccination.

2. Operators must prepare MySejahtera QR code, customer visit record book, disinfectant and temperature measuring device.

3. Operators, employees and Australia Phone Number List customers are required to scan the MySejahtera QR code or use the customer visit record book to register when entering the store.
